Call toll-free 877 LAW IDEA (877-529-4332) between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., E.T. After 5:00 p.m., leave your name and phone number and we'll call you on the next business day to get your order.

Toll-free Fax

Print this order form, fill in the required information, and fax the Order Form to 800-863-5348. If you are a fax modem user, you can "save to file," type in the correct information with your text editor, and fax the order form to us at 800-863-5348.

If you return a book, we'll send you a feedback form. The purpose of this form is to improve our products, not give you a hard time! There is a NO RETURN policy for retail bookstore purchases.

Sales Tax

We collect sales tax at a rate of 5.0% for orders shipped to Virginia residents only.

Backorders

If a title is temporarily out of stock, we will let you know. We can backorder it for you and send you a backorder notice. You will not be charged until the title is shipped.

We revise publications and issue new editions when statutes and cases change the law. If you subscribe to our free newsletter, we will notify you about new editions, products, pre-publication offers, discounts and sales. Online Orders: FAQs

How do I order from your online store?

If you've shopped online before, you'll find that our store feels familiar. If this is your first online shopping experience, it will help you to read this FAQ. Shopping in our online store is a little like shopping in a grocery or discount store. When you click "Order," you place an item or items in your "Shopping Basket." Items stay in your Shopping Basket unless you remove them or until you go through "Checkout." Each time you add an item, the program displays your Shopping Basket so it's easy to keep track of your order. After you place an item in your Shopping Basket, you click "Continue Shopping" or "Finalize This Order." If you change your mind while shopping, you can delete any or all items from your Shopping Basket. When you're ready to check out, click "Finalize This Order" to begin the checkout process. If you have any special instructions or comments, type them in the "Ordering Instructions" section. If your shipping address is different from your billing address, please click the box to let us know. Next, click "Payment Type." We accept Master Card, VISA, Discover and American Express in our store.

What happens when I click "Finalize This Order?"

When you click "Finalize This Order," you'll go to the Checkout Page. The Checkout Page describes your order and how much your order costs. You can change your order in the Checkout Page. If you want to change the number of items ordered, make your changes, then click "Recalculate." To view your Shopping Basket, click the "Back" button (you may need to hit "Reload"). When you arrive at Checkout, you'll be asked for several pieces of information: "Comments & More Information," "Billing Information" and "Payment Information." Fill in your name, billing address, and credit card information, then click "Proceed." (You aren't finished yet!) Your order isn't placed until you click the "Order" button at the end of this process. Your credit card won't be billed until we ship your order.

What should I do if I want to change my order?
It's easy to change your order! In your Shopping Basket are two buttons: "Empty Cart" and "Recalculate." You can add, change, or delete items - then click "Recalculate." If you want to cancel your order, click "Empty Cart." After you click "Finalize This Order," you'll go to the Checkout Page. On the Checkout Page, you enter your billing and payment information before you "Proceed" to complete the ordering process. Remember: Your credit card isn't billed until your order has been shipped.
What if I make a mistake when ordering?

Everyone makes mistakes! If you make a mistake when ordering just send an email to Orders.

In your email, tell us what happened, what you want changed, and how we can contact you. We want you to have a good shopping experience!

How can I pay for purchases?

You can use a credit card (Master Card, VISA, Discover or American Express) to pay for online purchases. You can also use a credit card for fax orders. (Order by toll-free fax order at 800-863-5348). If you want to pay by check or money order, that's fine too! Click to download our Order Form.

If you'd prefer to order by phone, call Harbor House Law Press at 877-LAW-IDEA (877-529-4332), Monday - Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. We can process your phone order faster if you have the order form and credit card information in front of you when you call.

Can I get a receipt for my purchase?

Sure. You'll receive a "confirmation email" as soon as you send your order. When your order is shipped, we'll include a copy of your sales receipt along with your purchase.

I'm concerned about ordering on the Internet. What can you tell me about security?
